To commemorate the opening of the movie, “Downton Abbey: A New Era”, we are featuring our Earl Grey Crème – a comforting tea with flavors of vanilla and cream combined to soften the citrus notes of traditional Earl Grey. Although there is no real dairy in Earl Grey Crème tea, the natural cream flavor is an excellent accompaniment to the citrusy oil of bergamot.
To prepare the tea:
- Measure 1 tsp of tea and add to a tea strainer or infuser
- Steep in 6-8 oz of fresh hot water for 3 – 5 minutes
- Delicious on its own or with warm frothy milk
You can accompany your Earl Grey Crème tea with cucumber sandwiches, scones, and lemon curd.
